Is there a service in my area?
Click on www.mynextfiber.com to see if they will be in your area soon. They shall also send information/sign-up packets to places in which they are building. You’ll receive a packet several months before you will be able to enjoy NEXT. At any time you may contact their offices to speak to one of their friendly staff, who will tell you the schedule for your area.
Why do you offer such services?
Many of the areas they serve have no means to get broadband internet, which the FCC define as having a 3Mbps upload speed and 25Mbps download speed. The Board of Directors of North Arkansas Electric Cooperatives approved a plan in 2016 to provide television, internet, and phone fiber services.

Do I have to be a North Arkansas Electric Cooperative member to receive service?
In MOST cases, yes. Not in all cases. Powered by NAEC NEXT is a separate company, although it is a subsidiary of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative. They are dedicated to serving the members of the NAEC. All drop fiber that runs to a non-member is case-by-case. They will make sure it doesn’t hurt their members in any way.
